Care Package Project – Support our Troops (4/13/13)

Care Package Project 2013OUR troops need YOUR support! South El Monte Sister City Association (SEMSCA) received an email from Mr. Joel Leal, from the South El Monte Army Reserve Center/VetHunters Project, as he had received an email from one of the Soldiers deployed from this military base, requesting care packages to boost the morale of the troops in his location, stationed in Afghanistan.

SEMSCA in collaboration with MarineParents.com, will be having a Care Package Drive and Assembly:

Saturday, April 13th – 10:00am – 1:00pm
at
San Gabriel Valley Service Center
1441 Santa Anita Ave,
So El Monte, CA 91733
(located next to South El Monte City Hall Parking Lot)

Morale is the greatest gift a soldier can receive, please send letters of support. Be mindful of the fact that our troops receive your cards and letters may not have an opportunity to respond to you personally.

Let’s honor their service by supporting them, until they all come home!
